Welcome to the website of Harlequin - Eastwood Theatre for Youth, one of the leading amateur youth theatre companies in Scotland. Harlequin was set up in 1977 and has for the last 34 years provided opportunities for young people to be involved in the theatre within the East Renfrewshire area. The club performs three shows every year in Eastwood Park Theatre.

A slapstick musical comedy, Bugsy Malone follows the rivalry between two half-witted street gangs and the well-intentioned, one-time boxer who steps in to take control of Fat Sam's gang and give Dandy Dan and his boys what they've got coming. Complete with songs like “Fat Sam’s Grand Slam”, “Bad Guys” and “My name is Tallulah”, Harlequin Junior section brings you this fun filled and energetic production. Look out for the “splurge” guns!
